Covered Wagon is your premier family RV and Tent campground in Ottawa Lake, MI. We offer full hookup services for your RV, all the way to quiet rustic camping for the more adventurous guests.
Activities abound at your new Camping Home: swimming in the pool or pond, mini golf, jump pad, volleyball, gaga ball, horseshoes, Ice Cream, free wagon and train rides, and even fish in our pond.
Whether you're enjoying a staycation close to Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Toledo, or if you're on an adventure from Cleveland or Columbus, your time at Covered Wagon Camp Resort will be filled with as much fun or relaxation as you want it to be.

- Check-in 2 p.m. - Check-out 2 p.m.
- Inquire about Early Check In/Check Out
- Reservation deposit required on holidays or to save a special site.
- Visitors welcome, but must register at office and pay a fee of $5.00 per person, till 11:00 p.m.
- ALL PETS must be kept out of pond area, pavilion and playground, quiet, cleaned up after, on a leash and attended to at all times.
- Motor bikes to be driven from camp site to outside and back only.
- We reserve the right to deny access for visitation or camping.

Absolutely THE BEST CAMPGROUND WITHIN A 200 MILE RADIUS. Fenced in outdoor pool, pond, fishing. The staff is all family and it has been on the same family's name for 2 generations. It doesn't matter if one of the workers is off the clock and it 10pm at night they will help with whatever you could possibly need! Down home, old fashioned service THAT NO LONGER EXISTS except in a few rare instances such as this. 100% recommend! KOA has nothing on this place. Quiet, stress free destination if there ever was one.

We took a last minute camping trip this past weekend, the campground was clean, the staff was inviting and super friendly! The bathrooms were hot, but it’s camping! :) we enjoyed our stay! The pool was so clean and refreshing! All 4 boys had a blast! We enjoyed our stay! We needed a camper and tent site next to each other to accommodate our party of 10 and they did! Wonderful place to go and visit! Will return again in the future!
